弾種: 誘導弾

解説

爆弾付きの「針（ニードル）」を相手に発射し、突き刺したあと爆発させる非常にエグいロックオン式武器。
発射すると照準方向に射出され、一定距離を誘導後小停止、その場からロックオン対象に再誘導される特殊な弾道が特徴。
前作と異なり、着弾即爆発となる。その為爆発前にエリアシールドを張られて防がれるということが無くなった。

特殊な軌道を利用して物陰から隠れながら攻撃する事や、障害物裏の敵に当てる事が可能。しかし誘導に頼り過ぎると障害物にぶつかって消滅する事が多いので過信しない様に。
またロックオン式の為相手にアラートが鳴る。意識すれば回避は容易なのでブーストを切れを狙ったり交戦中の敵を狙う等当てる工夫が必要。
アラートを逆手にとって相手を牽制する事も可能。バラ撒くだけでもそれなりのプレッシャーになるが、丁寧に使う事で真価を発揮する武装だろう。

Lv7以外のサブトリガーには別の兵器がある。リロードは別なので状況に応じて使い分けよう。
ただし射程がニードルガンと異なる点と、ニードルガンと同時に発射はできない点には注意が必要となる。
ロックオンしたにも関わらずサブ武器に夢中で発射タイミングを逃す…というような事態にならない様注意。

Lv7はサブが無くなったが装弾数が豊富で、装填速度の遅さを補って余りある性能。驚異的な連射速度で最大4ロック三点バースト。そこそこの弾幕を張る事が出来る。
しかし射出数が多い分射撃時間も長くなっており、射出中は武器の切り替えが不可なので無防備を晒してしまう。
射出数が多いことは無駄が多くなる可能性も高く、一長一短であることを忘れないでおこう。
自分でロック数を調整して射撃するなどの工夫も必要になる。
